I hold an undergraduate degree in Rural and Surveying
Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, a
Master's in Urban Geography from
the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Ph.D degree in Public
Policy Analysis, also from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I have over 15 years of professional experience in
transportation
and have been affiliated with the University of Illinois Urban
Transportation Center since 1997.
I have conducted research in the following areas: (a)
Transit Planning, (b) Transportation and Land Use, (c) Intelligent
Transportation Systems, (d) Transportation Modeling and Database
Development, and (e) Transportation Impact Analysis.
